Scarey Man® is the brainchild of a Cambridgeshire farmer. One
day when working in a garden shed on the farm he was startled by a black bin bag which was
suddenly blown up by a gust of wind. Reflecting on his fright, he and his good friend Brian
Barratt (a fellow director), wondered if the same 'inflatable shock system' could be applied
to keeping pigeons off their crops?

Over the following weeks prototype systems were developed
culminating in the 'Scarey Man'® scarecrow. The rest, shall we say, is history.
Scarey Man is now firmly established as a leading deterrent for a wide range of
